The UNC department of Radiology/Imaging has continued it successful teaching programs through the dedicated efforts of the members of the Department of Radiology/Imaging. The cross-training clinical experience is part of the ever-broadening educational efforts of the University of North Carolina Hospitals to develop the professional and technical skills of the members of our health care team.

Goals
The University of North Carolina Hospitals CT/MRI Cross Training Clinical Experience educates licensed radiologic technologists in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The program is designed to help prepare technologists for the ARRT certification examination in CT or MRI as well as to provide a means for satisfaction of the required clinical competencies needed for exam qualification.
