CTSCAN

The Computed Tomography department is dedicated to providing topnotch service. Our mission is to provide the best patient care possible. Accredited by the American College of Radiology, we provide 24-hour service, 7 days a week. The services we provide include routine examinations of the head and neck, thoracic and abdominal areas. Specialized examinations include Angiographic studies of the same, as well as CTA’s of the extremities. In addition, we perform Interventional studies that include Radiofrequency Ablations (RFA’s), Cryo’s, Microwaves, Aspiration drains, Biopsies and Endovascular studies. We also provide CT Colonography, and Cardiac Imaging. The Computed Tomography department utilizes Siemens equipment in each of our seven (7) scan areas, which will include the Cancer Hospital in the next few months.

CT is us

"CT is us" is created and maintained by The Advanced Medical Imaging Laboratory (AMIL). AMIL is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to research, education, and the advancement of patient care using medical imaging with a focus on spiral CT and 3D imaging. The AMIL is headed by Elliot K. Fishman, M.D., and includes several radiologists, a computer scientist, multimedia developer (Melissa Garland), a medical illustrator (Frank Corl), and a graphics assistant (Chris O'Keefe). The AMIL is part of the Department of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, MD.
